CELEBRATING 9 YEARS IN CHRIST!
Hi!
I'm so glad you're visiting this page. It marks the eighth year since I first accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior. I would like to share with you how this came about.
Before I accepted the Lord, my ex-wife and I were members of the Mormon Church. She was unable to attend due to a rather extended illness. One day, she was listening to a Christian radio program and heard some information about the Mormon Church. What she heard ultimately led her to the conclusion that it was a cult.
She gathered more and more materials on the subject. The more she tried to share her information with me, the angrier I became.
It took her almost six months to break through my defensiveness. I had made up my mind that she would have to stop her nonsense. Either she would return to the Mormon beliefs or on February 29, 1992, I would ask for a divorce.
On February 28, 1992, she compared a passage from the Bible with a similar passage in a book that the Mormons accept as scripture. The difference was so striking that, immediately, it was as though scales of blindness fell from my eyes.
That very moment, I knelt and asked Jesus Christ to forgive me for
my sins and come into my heart. Later, my ex-wife and I, divorced
for a different reason that I won't discuss here. Now, I have a new life with a totally new attitude. I also have a new wife. She is so much a part of me that I couldn't feel more united to her had God made her from my rib.
If you haven't yet accepted Christ, I invite you to do so, now. If you are already a Christian and have fallen into sin, I invite you to repent. Jesus will help you. He awaits you with open arms.
