No Room

There was no room at the inn that night,
But nothing stopped God's plan:
'Twas in a stable manger mean
He took on flesh as man.

The angels sang their joyous song
Of peace, good will to all.
The humble shepherds went to see
The baby in the stall.

Wise men came bearing gifts of gold,
And frankincense, and myrrh,
And seeing the child's mother, gave
These valued gifts to her.

And Mary pondered all these things
And kept them in her heart.
The baby grew from grace to grace,
And Joseph did his part.

Today, wise men still seek the Lord.
What gifts do they bestow?
Room for Him in humble hearts
That the Christmas star may glow.

May the True Spirit Of Christmas fill your heart
and remain with you every day of the coming New Year!
May you always find room in your heart for Jesus!
